Kyle, Tx: The newest branch Bank of America in Hays County celebrated its grand opening in Kyle by making a very special investment in the local community. Bank of America staff presented local non-profit, United Way of Hays County, with a $1,000 donation for its education programs.
“We are so thankful to have the generous support of Bank of America,” says Michelle Harper, President/CEO for United Way of Hays County. “These dollars are a true investment in our local community, and help bring United Way one step closer to achieving our mission of helping improve the lives of Hays County residents.”
Funds donated by businesses like Bank of America, and others, are carefully reinvested into the community through 30 local programs supported by United Way of Hays, to provide education, financial and income stabilizing, and health and prevention services to more than 50,000 residents each year. Currently, United Way of Hays County is working to positively influence education for Hays County youth by administering and investing in program services at critical points along the education spectrum.
