Taste 2018 brings together all of the great things about Hays County...the food, the drinks, the non-profit organizations and most importantly, the people. Hosted by a new exiciting venue in our community, The Railhouse, this signature event features samples of some of the best food Hays & Caldwell Counties have to offer, live entertainment and a silent auction filled with items you won't want to miss.
Rick Trevino, a Grammy Award-winning country music artist, will providea concert you won't want to miss after you have enjoyed menu samplings from 15 or more restaurants, browsed our fabulous silent auction and mingled with guests from throughout our community.
Proceeds from Taste 2018 benefit United Way of Hays & Caldwell Counties programs and our 16 partner organizations. This year, UWHC hopes to raise $25,000 from Taste for local programs. Every year thousands of residents gain access to critical Health,Education, and Financial Stability programs through UWHCC and our partners. Dollars raised through UWHCC fundraising efforts, including individual contributions, workplace giving campaigns held at local businesses,corporate giving, and fundraising events, such as Taste, are redistributed back into the most crucial areas of need.
